worked great for me [Posted on 2008-02-05] worked very well for me. I had the original 123 copydvd, the new interface on gold was fantastic and easy. If I had to offer one suggestion on improving the product it would be to expand the portables into some of the obscure players out there. DVD to DVD was fast and easy, DVD to my iPod and Zune worked well, I would have liked to tried it on my "no name" MP4 player, but maybe next version will have some of the off the wall players. Great job guys, been using your product for 4 years now.
Perfect DVD converter [Posted on 2008-02-22] I bought this wanting to convert my movies to play on my ipod video. It works great and was well worth the money. It burned my dvd's and videos into the correct format to play in my ipod. I would recommend this to everyone.
Buyer Beware! [Posted on 2008-04-02] There are not enought words in the human language to discribe how bad this software is. DON'T Buy!
Bugs Galore [Posted on 2008-04-18] This software is junk! Save your sanity and PC by avoiding this product. Sure you may be able to rip a few dvds after many hours of uninstalling and re-installing the updates, but believe me, eventually you'll come to realize that other programs are now having problems and the only way to correct the situation is by re-installing your entire operating system! Like just about every other dvd copying program out there, this one is full of bugs and is nowhere near ready to be sold to the public.
works well for me [Posted on 2008-07-03] Contrary to so many negative reviews, I'm pretty happy with this product, so far I only tested its DVD to IPod video converting feature, which works pretty well.
I also noticed at the first run, it downloaded a patch, which might fix some of the issues a lot of people complained about.
I just finished converting an one and half hour DVD. Interestingly the whole process took about one and half hour too.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied with its performance (it shows the reading speed is around 3.8MB/s which takes about a half hour to finish, then bump up to %50 and 50 minutes during converting).
