I purchased one of these at Wal-mart last summer & love the way it works. When a power surge rendered it useless on New Year's Eve (live in California), I learned that repair would not be possible & the manufacturer suggested purchase on Amazon. It arrived in good time & condition. It puts out a good amount of air & is very quiet. The remote is a nice feature too.
