A good player for it's price - you're not expecting miracles from this price range. Overall I am pleased with this player however.
A gripe (naturally) is that it uses AAAA batteries and has no recharge capacity, but oh well.

The controls were very easy to understand. It took a little exploring but in the end it was so easy. The manual could be improved a little
The worst device I've ever owned [Posted on 2008-10-27]
The people who "liked" the controls of this device are writing from the vantage point of someone whose just got the thing, and are unaware as to how bad these controls actually, in fact, ARE. The toggles and buttons constantly malfunction, double function, and errantly run commands that you did not intend. No matter HOW WELL you know the device, it will always malfunction as you go along with ownership of it. In no time at all, the "multi-function" controls on the device will do nothing but the WRONG command, making song selection almost impossible. I have to struggle for several minutes to get the controls to function properly. This is not a function of my product being broken, but is a function of the programming being extremely POOR. Nowdays, 98% of the time when I simply select a song, or perform any function whatsoever, the player will begin RECORDING. This function is utterly useless, and there is no way to turn it off or disable it. On the whole, the device represents the worst programming of any device available, and it's toggles and button controls are a malfunction waiting to happen. This is a LEMON and the makers, and the distributors of this device, should all be prosecuted for this to the fullest extent of the law.
