My Inspiron 6000 hasn't been the same since! [Posted on 2007-12-31]
2GB for $49. Are you kidding me?? My Dell Inspiron 6000 shipped with a measly 512mb and it was really starting to bog down. Memory scrubbing programs couldn't release much memory as the laptop booted up with 80% memory already used...and the performance showed.
Once this arrived in the mail, I just popped off the back panel, pulled out the old memory and inserted the 2 sticks. Replace cover, and viola! the computer recognized the upgrade without a problem. Now I'm running fast and clean with only 28% memory used at bootup.
If you need memory for your Inspiron 6000, then look no further. I'm very glad I made this purchase and my laptop is too!

The memory arrived in a timely manner and was securely packaged. I replaced the 512MB of memory in my laptop with this 2GB and got markedly better performance. I experienced no problem installing this memory in my Inspiron 6000.
