Poor Sound Quality [Posted on 2008-02-29]
I ordered these speakers for my notebook computer to use when I make presentations. From the description, I thought that they would have a single connection to the USB port for both power and sound. Turns out that the USB port only powers the speakers, and you need to use the additional plug for your headphone port. The sound quality is extremely poor. I listened to music from these speakers for less than a minute, and couldn't stand the tinny sound.
The volume is not much louder than my internal laptop speakers.
These speakers were inexpensive, but overpriced for the quality. They are also too large to carry around in my laptop case. Overall, I had a bad experience with this product and do not recommend them.
