I bought this privacy filter for my Dell M90 (17") workstation notebook. The filter fits my screen nearly perfectly and met all my expectations in that regard. It does indeed block lateral viewing of the screen quite well, and in that regard meets my expectations. The only downside is that the filter darkened my LCD by about 5-10%. Anyone who has an M90 in the first place knows that the screen is not particularly bright, so I cannot use this filter as a permanent fixture on my laptop. I only use it when in public places. Outdoor use is very problematic for me, because the M90 screen is already so hard to see.

Despite the slight screen darkening, it's a nice product for indoor use, and is certainly a handy accessory for those who want relative computing privacy. I don't regret the purchase.

Works great, easy to remove and above all includes an extra set of clips. A bit on the expensive side, but it is 3M.

Definitely works.... dont be fooled by cheap immitations that stick onto the screen. Reduces a significant amount of glare and keeps peering eyes from seeing everything you are working on. Easy to clean and use.

Awesome for the plane and in crowded areas for privacy, it's even great for anti glare in highly lit areas :)
