WOW and I do mean W O W ! !
I give a lot of presentations and ever since I started using this beast of a pointer everybody(!) wants to know where I got it and how they can one, too.
Last week on vacation in the Caribbean I was pointing out stars in the major constellations. When that green beam shot into the sky it was the same questions: What is it? Where did you get it? Can I get one, too?
Trust me, if really want to show people what YOU want them to see this is the way to do it. I love this thing!! It's so cool that I might just buy another one, I don't know what for, but it is that cool.
Powerful laser, pops balloons in ten seconds, but not made for burning things [Posted on 2008-06-06]
The beam from the laser can be seen in daylight when viewed against a dark background. I used this laser many times and it did not dim much. However, a Halo developed around it and much of the power is going there. However, the beam is still powerful nonetheless. Great for pointing stars, amazing your friends and generates some excitement when used in a presentation. Although the output power is stated as 50mW, I do not recommend this product for burning things as it is not made for that and does not generate enough heat to do so. However, this laser can pop a balloon in about ten seconds. The laser arrived seven days before the minimum estimated arrival date. I also recommend that you use lithium batteries (I bought two AAA energizer lithium batteries)instead of those provided in the box as it has a long battery life and increases the power of the beam. Note if you are purchasing this product: Keep out of reach of small children as the laser is very powerful and can blind you in 1/10th of a second. Please also note that this laser has no IR filter and can be very dangerous when viewing the beam.

this laser is absolutly a piece of junk. it is not bright at all and it flickers and dims. i highly recomend you buy your laser from a different company because the laser is a piece of junk and i will NEVER shop here again.

This is only useful as a pointer and nothing else if you are looking for something that burns things and to point at stars go somewhere else. You cannot see the beam even at night, which is almost the whole point of getting a green laser and there is no way this can be rated at 50mW and produce not one ounce of heat. They must have just measured the IR because the actuall green that this laser emmits is less than 5mW. All I can say is this is about as usefull as a red laser. On the good side, it got here in 2 days :)

It's Not what I was Expected it's definitely not 50mw it's not more than 5mw. (Just a weak pointer)
