These DVD's worked great. I have a Toshiba RDX-S5 which only records to 8x discs so this is one of few options now. Great image and sound quality. From the entire pack only one disc was damaged. Anyway, a good quality product. Shame on my recorder that doesn't accept 16x.

I needed to dub a ton of camcorder tapes to DVD, and the unit I have (Sony RDR-VX500) only recognizes 8x dvds to record with, despite the entire world having upgraded to 16X. These discs worked just fine for me, no loss in clarity or quality of video or audio, and for the price you can't beat them. Obviously 16X is better, but if you need to use 8x these work fine. They're not rw's, so you don't have to worry about loss of data over time.
