I bought this product mainly for the dual-video capability. It can support 1 standard analog and 1 DVI monitor. They provide an analog-to-DVI converter plug, so I think that both monitors can be either analog or DVI. It is an excellent product for the price.
Loud fan got louder [Posted on 2008-02-08]
This card worked great at first. It certainly delivers great graphics.
But.
The fan is loud. As the months passed, the fan got louder. Once a year passed, the fan was so loud (a high-pitched, awful noise) we searched to find out if this was normal, and used the troubleshooter at ATI...which advised us to buy a new card.
So we did.
And we won't be spending our money on another Radeon until they can make them last longer than a year.
