Radeon All-in-wonder Video Card [Posted on 2005-09-13] Works extremely well, I was impressed at how much faster it worked.
Freaking Sweet! [Posted on 2005-09-19] When I bought my Vaio RZ-40C1B, I was focusing on the video card and the RAM, because I would be doing lots of music mixing/editing, (for my band) video editing, and photo editing. It ran very well through these tasks, because of the 9800 PRO and the 1 GB of SDRAM. When I got into PC gaming, I noticed that this card could handle EVERYTHING. Everything from Halo, DOOM 3, Unreal Tournament, Warcraft 3, everything. It was just amazing. Now, when I buy games, I don't even look at the system requirements. Because my card is the benchmark or the video game industry.
In response to Jordan review [Posted on 2006-04-03] The card I have for sale is what is shown above, Jordan must have had some issue with a particular seller. My card is in the original box with all the original accessories and is in great shape.
Good Card, Bad Fan [Posted on 2007-04-21] I bought one of these, was very happy with the performance of the card itself, however, the fan died and by the time the source of the problem was found the card was damaged beyond repair. So, thinking this was a fluke I again bought the same card, but lo and behold the fan died AGAIN, this time I've hopefully caught it before the damage is permanent and have replaced the fan, but I will never buy a Radeon again.
Served its purpose for 4yrs like a champ....now, not so much [Posted on 2007-10-08] I bought this card at Best Buy for $450 back in March of 2003. This card has been nothing but phenominal in playing every and ALL PC games out there since...but yesterday i was denied access to "Medal of Honor: Airborne" because the card was not supported. Unfortunately i don't feel like buying a new 256mb card for $150 just to play this newest game. But for anyone who enjoys playing any game pre 2007 will LOVE this video card....i think to this day it's still has some top-of-the-line features to add to gaming. What it doesn't possess is the new filtering features of newer cards which is why some games don't support running on it. For $85, this card is DEFINIETLY worth the purchase for any computer. I have 2 of these cards....one in my 2.4celeron/1gig computer and the other in my 3.4 P4 HyperThread/ 2gig computer and both of the cards worked flawlessly over the years. I've been playing CAll of Duty 2 and the Peter Jackson King Kong games on full/high video setting without a single slowdown....so this card can definitely handle some graphics. Hope this review helps for anyone interested in a GREAT card and to save a heck of alot of money! ;)
