While making choices about the telephone settings seems unnecessarily complicated (it took over a month for me to discover there is a tollsaver function), this phone is what I wanted: phone, answering system, and caller ID.

The AT&T Answering system replaced an older system that failed. So far, ease of use and the many numerous features have fit it in well in our household. The only complaint so far is the abnormally short handset cord included (a longer cord could really benefit this product)!

A few problems: Headset is uncomfortable for long calls but speaker option is there. Recovery from power outage is awkward. Voice prompts are nice.
