This phone almost lived up to its expectations; however, it continually would drop our calls as the handsets would try "searching for the base". This was frustrating during calls but the handsets would beep throughout the night as they were "searching for the base" even when they were on the base recharging.

This is a terrific phone. The BT install was cake. Lots of cool features. I would recommend it.

I ordered the base unit with 2 extension handsets and couldn't be more pleased (well - I could be a little more pleased)

Sound quality is excellent as is the range. I love being able to link in my BT cell phone and my BT headset.

Only downside to this phone (and the extension handsets) is that you need to enter your contacts into EACH phone's address book. It would have been great if the base unit stored a central address book and pushed it to the extensions. Oh well

The Bluetooth features are GREAT. Really like the phone. Some others have more style but function for dollar none that I have seen or used beat this phone.

Amazing Phone for VOIP [Posted on 2008-05-01]
We purchased this phone for Outburst Web (www.outburstweb.com), a web design and development company in Indianapolis, IN. We signed up for Vonage VOIP and I searched extensively for a phone before purchasing a Philips 6.0. I'm not sure if I just had a defective product or didn't know how to use it, but the phone kept dropping calls after about 30 seconds of conversation. I immediately sent the phone back and found this one. I have been more than happy with this purchase and the phone works great with Vonage VOIP. You will be satisfied with this product!
