Don't bother if you have a Mac [Posted on 2004-10-25]
In spite of the item description, you cannot run this product in 2.0 mode on an Apple. I discovered this upon reading the ReadMe on the install CD. That document refers you to the Adaptec site for Max OS drivers, of which there are none.
The package has the Mac and OS X logos on it, but don't let that fool you; it isn't a 2.0 hub for the non-windows world.
So now I have a rather expensive USB 1.1 hub.
