Froze my computer. Immediate support costs $199.00 per incident. [Posted on 2006-03-02]
When I put the card in my computer, I couldn't get into the configuration to add the card. I tried contacting Adaptec Support, but have to pay $199.00 (yes that's right), to be able to talk to a representative. They will only support using email for free which is a joke since they broke by computer!
Don't support companies that will not support you when you buy their product.
