Worst RAID Card Ever [Posted on 2005-02-25]
This is the WORST RAID card I have ever purchased. It drops drives left and right. Adaptec has a firmware update, but you have to completely rebuild the arrays to install it! This card is VERY unreliable. I waited on hold, never speaking to a single soul, for over an hour at Adaptec's support line. I finally just gave up.
I'm not sure what has happened to Adaptec, but it isn't good in my opinion.
