I had a hard time finding a USB wifi adapter with an external antenna connector and drivers for XP Pro 64-bit. This works perfectly.

Intermittent signals drop [Posted on 2008-10-10]
I use and connect up to three various networks.
Intermittently it would just loose signal. I would have
to disable Alfa wifi and then enable. Then all signals
returned. Tested on different AP. Most times it
worked for hours but some times it just looses signal.
Wasn't a heat or computer . Also used a Linksys wifi pci
with no problems.
