I bought these speakers from dell some 4 years ago and I think they rock. The sub is pretty powerful and the treble gets louder than I need. I was wanting to buy speakers for my laptop since I use it on a desk upstairs. If shipping was free I'd definitely jump on these for a total of 2!

The speakers sound great and for the price they are can't be beat. The are however a bit dated as they lack a center channel speaker. Good for music and games but if you will be watching lots of movies - go 5 or 7.1

I purchased these speakers as replacement for a set of Dell that went bad after 4 plus years of heavy family use. Upon seeing the units would adapt to my sound card and at the incredible price, I purchased them. The end result was a great sounding set of speakers that for the price exceeded my expectations.

There was a problem with the Sub-Woofer but Amazon quickly replaced it.

Terrific set of speakers [Posted on 2008-01-27]
Best set of speakers I've ever owned. Had them about 6-7 years now, having bought them for my desktop system, and when I replaced that, I just had to hold on to these speakers.

In the past few months I have experienced some volume fluctuations, and after ruling out the sound card as the culprit, realize I need to replace the speakers, so intend to buy me a new set of the very same. Terrific midrange sound, strong bass, and clear treble.
