I must be out of touch with current price trends but I can't believe these were selling for $20! I just tried out a set today and they sounded like they were worth half that. I'm no audiophile and usually have my computer hooked up to an old boom box for sound but these speakers fell below my already low expectations. The sound was weak and wasn't even as good as my small boom box. On top of this, these speakers tip over WAY too easily. For 20 bucks and an AC adapter for extra power, I expected a little more.

These speakers are ok for everyday use at a fair price but they are NOT
for the audiophile who likes "pure" music. I use mine to listen old time radio
shows of the past and they are fine for that.

One point...these speakers are feather light on a tiny base and they tip over
so very easy.

Bought it for my daughter from Wal Mart 3 months ago and used it not more than 20 times. Enjoyed it initially but made no sound in 2 months.

I didn't want to spend much money on my speakers because they are just for my computer at work. These are perfect. Easy install, good sound.
