This keyboard is a little expensive, but is built solidly and has such a low profile. It looks good with my other Apple products (Macbook Pro and Wireless Mighty Mouse). My only complaint is that not all keys work for Windows. I run a XP virtual machine using VMWare Fusion and the number pad doesn't seem to work. I might be missing something, so if you know how to get it to work please let me know.

Much better than I expected [Posted on 2008-04-27]
I ordered this along with a new trackball (figured I'd give it a try as a friend who has been using one for years swears by it) and a laptop stand.

It is very well built, not flimsy at all despite its thinness. The keyboard was very easy to get used to and I love having the numeric keypad. The keypad is why I chose this over the wireless (and more expensive) version.

I have not really needed the two USB ports, but it's to have them if I do.

Lastly, I had it delivered at work. I am a software developer in a[..]shop. The first thing I did was take it out of the box, walk over to a coworker's machine and plug it into an open port on the front. After a minute of Windows going through it's detection process, it was ready to use and worked flawlessly. No drivers to manually install and the Command key mapped as the Windows key. For those of you thinking of getting a Mac, this an inexpensive way to get started.... :-)

How did I live without this keyboard??? [Posted on 2008-05-03]
I was happy with my previous iMac keyboard until we got these in at work. WOW! It's so smooth to use, it has the great iTunes buttons on it and best of all ... my typing has sped up considerably! I used it for 1 week at work and had to have it for my home. I ordered it on a Wednesday morning using super saver shipping and had it hooked up by Thursday afternoon. Thank you Apple!!!!

I have tried many different keyboards. I mainly used an ergonomic one before. However, the new Apple keyboard is the best one I have used --and the only Apple branded keyboard that I have not replaced with a third party one. In fact I bought this extra one to replace my old ergonomic one.

Chicklets ROCK! [Posted on 2008-05-07]
I have to say, this little keyboard has taken over my house. We even use it on our Linux powered computers. It just feels good with the little chicklets buttons for your fingers to wonder.

I have the USB keyboards (LOVE the USB slots on the sides) but really want to try out the BlueTooth keyboard, but that'll have to wait until I purchase the next gen MacBook Pro (Mine is only a year old).

This keyboard is awesome!
