Apple mouse [Posted on 2008-05-01] What can one say? If you have a Mac without a scroll wheel, you need this and once you use it for a day, you wonder how you lived without it. I actually bought it because my scroll wheel mouse died and I needed a new one. I am not a wireless kind of guy, so I did not want the wireless version.
Absolutely awful [Posted on 2008-05-23] built quality is absolutely not convincing. Scroll-ball function broke after
only 3 months of use.
Worse then any mouse I've ever used. [Posted on 2008-06-07] This is a HORRIBLE product. ANY mouse I've ever used, including the ones that are too small for my hands, are very superior to this one. The only good thing about it is that it is pretty.
The scroll is so "easy to use" it just goes off whenever you bump a finger into it, not to mention that it scrolls down when you use the scroll as a button.
The side buttons make your hand hurt because they are so hard to press, and the one button idea turns this into a complete junk.
If you ever wish to click right while pressing left or the other way around well, you won't. If you ever wish to keep the one main button pressed for a long time, it becomes very hard since its so big/heavy to keep down.
In short, dont buy this.
Great deal! [Posted on 2008-06-18] This was a great purchase. It came on time, well packaged, and works just fine :) Thank you
TOO MUCH COOL, TOO LITTLE PRACTICALITY [Posted on 2008-06-28] The Mighty Mouse is a good example of Apple letting cool get in the way of useful.
My use of q-tips and alcohol has gone way up since I got this mouse...I am constantly having to clean it when the scroll wheel stops working.
I have wired and wireless versions. The wireless mouse needs a battery stat indicator. I usually have to restart my iMac several times before I find out it's just an underpowered mouse that's the problem.
Meanwhile.... my cheap, 5-year-old Logitech just keep on working like a champ.
