iPod Review [Posted on 2008-07-17] The delivery time was most satisfactory. I am pleased with the condition of the package when it arrived.
I think it would have been nice if Apple would have included a short operation booklet with their iPod Nano so that a first time user would have some knowledge of how to use the iPod. Also what optional items are offered to use with the iPod.
IPOd Nano [Posted on 2008-07-17] Great product purchased at a reasonableprice and delivered quickly. It is easy to sync and use,and well worht the extra money over the 2nd gen nano.
IPOD [Posted on 2008-07-18] I have been wanting one of these for a while and it was definitely worth the wait. I love it.
Shame on you Apple! [Posted on 2008-07-18] I already own a 2nd generation 4G iPod Nano, and so when the 3rd generation model offered twice the capacity of the older one, I naturally wanted it. Despite the new models many new features, (games, Calendar, playing videos, etc) it has some problems that you should be aware of before making the decision to purchase it:
* You can not transfer the music you have in your old iPod into the new one. You have to move them one by one from your iTunes library into the new one.
* The new iPod makes a ticking sound whenever you press it which can become very annoying.
* My iPod's control pad seems so sensitive that when the iPod is playing while I am driving, the sound volume slightly keeps changing and what makes it worse is the fact that it keeps making that annoying ticking sound.
* As many people have pointed out, sometimes iTunes seems to be having difficulty recognizing the new iPod. This renders your new iPod useless if it happens to you.
Finally, the Apple website does not seem to be of much help when it comes to dealing with any of these problems. Despite my many attempts I could not find an e-mail address that I could send my questions to! Shame on you Apple.
My First iPod [Posted on 2008-07-19] This is my first iPod, and I love it. The size is perfect, the sound quality is great, and it was easy to learn to use. It's exactly what I was looking for.
