This is a great clip art collection! I use the clip art to illustrate bible stories. The pictures are bright and colorful and the kids adore them. There are also plenty of traditional pictures which are great for adults and older teens. It is very simple to use, you can either insert images into another program or simply print them out.

It contains great clip art. However, I was disappointed about the lack of "Lenten" items, including "Maundy Thursaday" items.

A Large Collection with Some Good Choices [Posted on 2006-12-22]
This is a large collection and it is not all Christian. There are some Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim folders within the collection as well as some secular ones. They are mostly, pretty well organized in sub-folders that make sense which is a big help in a large collection. Most of the images are in color and of good quality. All in all, this is a good collection.

In the last few weeks I have purchased about a dozen religious clipart collections. Some have better images than this one but I would say that for the money, this is probably the best collection I have seen so far. It is definitely a keeper.

great vector graphics but not a good search mechanism [Posted on 2008-02-26]
I make all kinds of posters for my church, but I didn't have many religious graphics in my current collections. So I ordered this set. I actually like the "cartoonish" qaulity of these images. I especially like the fact that they are all 100% vector graphics -- it makes them very scalable without losing image quality, and it also allows me to break the image down into its pieces and remove or change any piece the way I want. For example, I found a graphic of an angel that I liked, but I didn't really want an angel. So I removed her wings without ruining any of the rest of the graphic. (I use Deneba Canvas Version 7 Canvas 6.0 for editing any vector graphics.) The description that said these are all 100% vector graphics is the main reason I purchased this collection.

However, this CD is an old program and just doesn't have the search capabilities that I am used to with my other graphics collections. For example, I wanted to search for any clip art representing "prayer", and it couldn't find any. I also like to search for clip art representing moods like "excited" or concepts like "friends". The search can't find any.

All the clip art graphics are well grouped into categories. This works fine if you you know the category that would have the kind of image you would like, and if there is a category for that. You may then search within a category for some key words, but even that doesn't work very well. You may have better luck by just browsing through all the images in that category. But that assumes you know which category to find your image.

So I like the images, just not the search program that comes with it.

It's hard to find refined Christian clip-art & I don't see that this is that. It's basic clip-art from years ago. If you're looking for fine and beautiful Christian clip-art, this product is NOT it.
