This shredder is as advertised; it shreds effectively for a short period then needs to rest. If one needs to shred lots of paper for lengthy periods, this is not the unit to purchase. If one needs to occasionally shred a few sheets at a time, this works well.

It kept jamming even with a couple of sheets of paper. Ultimately returned the product. Did not even bother trying to shred credit cards!!

Nice shredder. Works great with both paper and credit cards. I haven't tried a CD, but I'm sure it works great with that, too.

This shredder works great - and fast. It's not as quiet as some that I've had, but it works great. It's a great value for the money. I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for a much more expensive shredder that gave-out after a year! This is working out great, so far.

I'm very pleased with this product. It works great and is perfect for shreading small amounts of paper around the house. I wouldn't recommend it if you had a lot of shreading to do because you can only shread a few pieces of paper at a time but perfect for home use. Shreads credit cards easily as well. The bin is a little small but I think anything bigger would take up too much space.
