Ew. [Posted on 2005-11-18] I apparently should have paid more attention to the synopsis when I bought it, but I was not prepared to have my character crawl over extremely realistic bloodied rat carcasses to play this game. I lasted about five minutes before becoming so disgusted I had to quit. I assume teenage boys LOVE this - I did not.
Game is Great Fun! no tech support, however [Posted on 2006-08-02] Important installation note: During installation of the game, if you get the message "a newer version of Quicktime has been detected", they tell you to remove the new version, then return to the game installation, but they don't tell you how to do it.
Here's how: go to Start, All Programs, Quicktime, uninstall, yes. Then return to finish installing their version of Quicktime and the game. I fumbled around and asked for help from tech support, got no reply after 3 queries. Had to find it myself. Easy, once you know how.
Game is easily controled and fun. Save often, especially after you "die" for the first time and still have 2 or more lifes left. (check for remaining lifes in top left corner when you die) Look for "tracks" targets that trigger movies.
Plot is fairly simple but engaging. Gave exploring a building a whole new point of view. Well acted and good voices. Excellent detail in the scenes.
Bloodless, except for a few dead bugs here and there. Only one timed segment at the end.
I have a new appreciation for roaches.... [Posted on 2006-10-08] I never thought I'd like this game since I think roaches are deeeesgusting. But I loved it! The game play is fairly linear and the roach-eye view is interesting. The puzzles were not very hard and the game was not very long. If you enjoy games that are fairly short, fairly easy, and just a joy to hang out and play, give this one a try! It's definitely unique.
Creepy crawly [Posted on 2007-07-12] If you are good at mazes, this is the game for you! It is one big maze. It was fun but not my favorite.
Mojo No Go [Posted on 2008-06-05] I have a Windows XP PC and couldn't get this game to run. There seems to be a problem with QuickTime--Bad Mojo objected to my newer version on install and wanted to replace it with its older version. I really wanted to run the game, so I replaced Quicktime, but the game still crashed at a necessary cut scene. After reading some forums, I decided I'd have to uninstall QT in "safe" mode to fully clear it from my system, then let Bad Mojo install its version. After that, it crashed on startup. Tried compatibility modes, then tried reinstalling the latest QT, with no improvement. And note that there is now NO customer support for this game if you run into problems like I did. I mean...it's only a few bucks, but now I have this tempting yet totally unplayable game, plus I spent two evenings trying to get it to run. Very sad.
