Customer Reviews:

Good quaility, good price [Posted on 2008-05-04]
So far, I am enjoying the Bamboo Tablet. It has a little less capabilities than the Intuos I was using, but that has not been a problem. I like the shape of the tablet and the screen area the pad covers; it is a wider screen design. I really like the buttons and the scroll wheel. I love the fact that the USB unplugs from the tablet, since that is what broke on my Intuos. The mouse is standard. The only think that has bother me so far, is the pen. it is a standard Wacom pen, but I was used to the Soft Grip, so I got a rubber pencil thingy to solve that.
For the price, I feel like I got a bargain, plus the best of a Wacom tablet. If you do any kind of computer graphics and have no tablet, I highly recommend getting this one to see what a world of difference a tablet can make.

handiest little toy EVAR [Posted on 2008-05-05]
i love my little bamboo fun tablet. i use adobe illustrator and found no problems with any of it's functions. plug and play for general stuff, but definitely download the drivers for the ultimate in pen-play.

Wonderful tool and great fun [Posted on 2008-05-08]
This is truly plug and play. It is especially helpful in Photoshop. I can work every pixel now. It has a slightly steep learning curve (it took me a couple of hours to get used to the clicker on the pen). It even comes with extra nibs for the pen. It lives up to its name in every way.

Worth the money [Posted on 2008-05-09]
Having no experience in tablets before, I went on the word of a few friends and family members who told me Wacom was a good brand.

It arrived very quickly, brand new, and was very easy to work with.

You can just plug it in and start using it! After a while I figured out there were drivers for it (blond moment I guess) and installed them, as well as the software that came with it, which made the tablet better (of course). The pen is sensitive enough for a beginner and very fun to work with, very easy to get the hang of. The software is very nice too. I recommend this.

An Extremely Worthy Product [Posted on 2008-05-10]

Design:
The Bamboo fun has a great design, which I found to my suprise is much thinner then in the pictures. It has a sleek black finish, and looks very nice overall. My only complaint is that the buttons up top look not so great in my mind, and I dont use them much, so they are a waste on me.

Functionality:
I was a bit skeptical of the Bamboo's small size, but I wasn't disappointed when it came. Again, its better in real life then in the pictures. Its very portable, yet big enough to have some fun on. I bought it mostly to help me with some graphic design, but I find myself using it when ever I can. The textured surface is amazing, and feels just like paper. Its very easy to navigate with, easier then a mouse, and allows for greater precision. The pen to is nice. The bottem half looks great and functions great, while the top half is a bit cheap looking. The pen stand I found to be worthless, but didnt effect the way I look at this tablet at all.

Overall:
If you are a serious designer, or just want to doodle, or want to have the fun of writing stuff in your own handwriting, get one of these. Ive heard that to get the most out of it, you have to install one of the discs to be able to change the settings, but I havent and I am extremely pleased with this. You get more out of it with windows vista, but I am sure it would be perfectly fun with any other OS. Basicly, GET ONE.

Pros and Cons:

+Great Design.
+Great feel, its just like paper.
+Great Functionality.
+Very useful.
+Extremely fun!
+Size is surprisingly good for most peoples needs.
+The bundled software is Great. It alone exceeds the cost of the Bamboo, and photoshop is simply the best.

-Mouse is worthless. Dont even try.
-You need Windows vista to get the most out of it. (Luckily I have Vista)
-I found the buttons on top to be quite worthless also. And they look bad.

I am very pleased with my tablet, and Wacom has done a great job making it. They are the best in tablets!
