Fun [Posted on 2007-10-24] I like this game, I play it alot when I need to wait on someone or something. It is even on my phone....great in airports.
Fantastic [Posted on 2008-02-04] Bejeweled 2 is an exciting and challenging game that will make you want to play for hours at a time. The graphics are beautiful and the sound is superior. Even the voiceover sounds cool.
Addictive [Posted on 2008-05-29] Bejeweled 2 can't stop playing and it is just as addictive to grown-ups like me. So many levels and so many facets. I warn you when you play his game be prepared for hours because you just can't STOP!! Somebody help me stop!!!!! hahahha
Visually beautiful, Addictive fun, Nonviolent [Posted on 2008-06-08] This is a relaxing computer game with no violence or ethical drawbacks. It is mentally stimulating to solve. Several different game modes are available and the gorgeous computer design is a feast for the eyes. It can induce a tranquil, almost meditative state. I used it as an aid to deal with post-traumatic stress syndrome from a car accident. By playing the game before bedtime I was able to substitute the lovely visuals of cascading jewels and avoid waking up from dreams of reliving the accident. I still use it to separate myself from the stresses of my work day.
My main complaint with this game is that there is no quick Pause feature. To exit the game one must click out on multiple screens. The game is saved for future playing, but the lack of a quick pause button makes it hard to multi-task with the game on.
Another gripe I have is that the titles of the various levels seem rather confusing and there is no list to fan the ambition of an aspiring gamer. I find this minor, but folks who really like competition will find this wimpy.
This is a fun game for everybody to play.
Even For The Old at Heart [Posted on 2008-06-30] At 74 years of age playing this game might seem a little silly....However it provides a great deal of intense focus for an old man and keeps him on his toes, both mentally and phyically, at least the eyeballs really keep working. It usually takes me several games to get warmed up and than I can build up a sizeable point count.
