bionicle heroes pc game [Posted on 2007-01-16] I bought this for my 7 year old son but can't get my husband to stop playing it! This game is unbelieveable. We had to get a new computer just to run it, so make sure you have enough memory before you buy it, or enough money for a new computer :) This game is challenging for my computer geek 7 year old son and my 32 year old husband. It is a great game. The extent of the "violence" is the bionicles getting shot and the lego pieces that make up the bionicles flying through the air. So there is no gore at all. I would recommend this game highly for anyone who is into bionicles.
A Boinicle disappointment [Posted on 2007-07-23] This game is very hard to get to run on some computers. It's download, download, and download. My son was very disappointed.
HORRIBLE! [Posted on 2007-07-29] this game on a rating of 1-10 on fun and over all are -5.camera views can go bad. very repetitive, bad humor for 2 year olds.only a real idiot would buy this game. graphics are horrible(but then again its for pc)too easy beacause all you did was push the fire button cause of auto lock.might be hard to move characters at first. unnecessary things to buy. basically copied lego star wars
dont even waste ten dollars [Posted on 2008-01-26] This game was created by and in the same format as those who created lego star wars. Thinking that is the base it should be good. It isn't. The character remains locked to the side of the screen. In an effort to make it like an FPS while keeping all the stuff that made SWL good doesn't work. The movement of the character in the environment gave me a headache.
You basically just go around and shoot shoot shoot with no real purpose. There is an auto aim and autolock on firing. Some of the weapons each of the bionicles has varies in speed, damage, and function. This is nice and the fact that you have five hearts and when you lose them you lose one of the masks and bionicle characters and his weapon and his force like "constracting" ie constructing force like ability.
The environments aren't graphically bad but I think the whole bionicle thing doesn't work as well as other regular lego figures. The first bionicle game had less relation to construction but it was an ok game and not hard to move around in and tylenol requiring. The only problem with that one was annoying repetitve tasks where if you messed up you did it again and again.
Anyway, rent it, borrow it from your library like I did, or anything before you spend the money on it, even if you are a fan.
Also, you do need a better graphics card but it it can play lego star wars then you should be fine I think with the pixel shading.
Bionicle Heroes [Posted on 2008-03-23] This is just a great game, it is challenging for girlies and with all the big titans, it seems to be fun especially when you get to be a piraka once you have beat the game.
