Customer Reviews:

Easy Install with Good Range [Posted on 2004-03-23]
Very easy to install with the quick start guide provided. I had the option to use the 3rd. party software or use windows xp wireless utility program.(I used XP's utility) It took about 30 mins to get the windows program to work using the WEP 128 encryption setting for the wireless network. My range is excellent in the house and about 60 ft.(maybe more) outside. I know alot of people have a hard time installing a wireless network but the best way to ensure success is to have a clean, uncluttered system and read and understand the instructions before you start. Go to blitzz's website and download the upgraded driver before you start anything. One wrong program setting can ruin the whole set-up.

Don't bother, unless you're married to Bill Gates [Posted on 2004-07-20]
I bought this under the impression that it worked with Linux and the Mac. Though it didn't say so on the box, a friend had one and the drivers for Linux, Mac, and Windows were on the disk. I worked on setting it up in Linux for 4 days to no avail. When I tried to set it up on my roommate's G4 Powerbook I had many of the same problems as before. After 2 calls to IBlitzz, dealing with people who hadn't a clue, I was told that my issue was given Level 2 status and that someone would contact me the next day. Today I got an email saying that the BWU613B is not supported on the Mac.

good value [Posted on 2004-09-28]
I bought this at my local Walmart store about six months ago. It was easy to set up with my router and it's been running ever since. it was a great value for the price, definitely would recommend it.

A burn out [Posted on 2004-11-14]
I't simple. I purchased two of these one for each computer. In under a year they began heating up and finally burned out. I didn't get a single response from customer service requests.
It'sa dud!!!!!!!

Worked great for me. [Posted on 2005-01-03]
I couldnt use cardbus or pcmcia on my laptop so my only choice was to use a USB nic. I bought this one for $15 and it has worked great. Slower than a PCI 802.11g would be but usb is limited to 13mbps anyway. Easy installation, just installed the software and plugged it in. Took me about 8-10 minutes to install. Also, it is easily transferable, I can provide networking ability to any computer with USB by just pulling out the NIC and plugging it in another computer. Definately buy this nic. Check out prices at pricewatch.com, you should be able to get it for less than half the price.
