Great Product [Posted on 2008-02-26] This works great. I connect it to my MP3 player, and pair it with my blootooth headphones and it works great. With a clear line of site they stay connected for about 100 feet.I also plug it into my TV at night so I can listen to movies without bothering anybody else
Works perfect [Posted on 2008-02-28] I paired it with my stereo BHS-500 bluetooth motorcycle set and it works perfectly - together with my cell phone with bluethooth.
only works with stereo bluetooth headset [Posted on 2008-03-02] I bought this hoping that it would allow me to listen to my ipod on my bluetooth headset, but it didn't work. come to find out, it only works with certain headsets, not many at all actually.
Awesome product! [Posted on 2008-04-30] I purchased this with the Jabra BT620 Headset. First thing I noticed when I opened the box was how surprisingly small the Bluetooth adapter is - smaller than a matchbox. After initial charging as instructed, I plugged it into my TV and it paired with the Jabra headsets exactly as expected. Sound quality was excellent. You can't beat this pair of products as an alternative to the wireless RF TV headsets currently out there - and you can easily switch to listening to your PC or MP3 player wirelessly as well!
In addition to watching TV at night, I'm also using this to play video games. In particular, I discovered while playing Rock Band that the adapter introduces a 100 ms A-V delay, so what you see on the screen doesn't match what you hear. Not all that surprising, since it does take a finite amount of time for the electronics to work, but kind of irritating until you figure out why you keep getting boo'ed off the stage. The good news: easily fixed by manually calibrating your TV in the Rock Band Options menu.
Bottom line: Terrific product. If you're looking for a simple, versatile wireless headset solution, buy it with the Jabra headphones!
One of the worst electronic products [Posted on 2008-05-24] Since the review was so good, I bought one of these from Fry's. It does come with a mini-USB charger. It was so hard to get it charging; I had to keep the cable pushed in. If I leave it, it won't charge (kind of loose connection). Once charged, it worked fabulously though.
I took it back to Fry's. They had three more packages (identical product) in the shelf. I wanted to make sure it charges before bringing it home. Fry's associate couldn't get two of them charging. Third one charged fine. Hurrrayy.
But, Alas, Even though it charges fine, it refuses to power on :( I'm returning this for good.
The problem is, there is no other product similar to this. I have to shelve the bluetooth stereo headphones I bought hoping to get it working with A120S.
