Admirable attempt [Posted on 2006-06-25]
This game has a decent premise, let the player run free while doing jobs for different factions. True, it's been done before, but never in a location such as this, everyone adds their own little tweaks. my biggest gripe with this game is that it looks horrible! i have a fairly nice gaming rig, athlon64 3700, 1gig corsair xms memory, geforce 7600 OC, as you can see, this rig isn't a puppy, i can run F.E.A.R, doom 3,far cry, half life 2, and oblivion at mid/high to high settings with almost no slowdown, this game looks like Morrowind and still slows down. The other thing is the voice acting, in the cinematics, it's ok, but in the actualy game itself, it sounds terrible. it's a game they could have done so much with, but for one reason or another, they didn't/couldn't. well, you all know how atari's been doing lately, and perhaps games like this are the result, or the cause.

Not good for fans of shooters [Posted on 2007-01-05]
I am a big Shooter fan and this is not the game for shooters. There are elements of a shooter but it plays more like a RPG than any shooter I have played in the past.

ground breaking [Posted on 2007-01-20]
First I would like to say I can not believe all the bad reviews this great game recieved. It is by far the most inovative and groundbreaking game ever made.It has a wide open world to explore where you can do anything you want.It is replayable to the max.It does have a main story line to follow but you can do every thing anyway you want when you want and how you want to do it.You get a mission to use a helicopter, you can do the mission and return for your payment or just take the helicopter. You can use the helicopter for other missions until you run out of fuel or use it awhile then compleate the mission and collect your money. There is no end to the variety this game offers with a little imagination. It should rank up there with GTA VICE CITY and FAR CRY.These three games showed the way pc games should have went.Instead pc games went back to the old linier format and produced games like FEAR and Half Life2.These 2 games have gotten rave reviews, but for what.True thy are very good games but there is very little about them that has not been did before in other games.Boiling point has streached the bounderies of what can be did in games. There is not enough room to expand on all the inovative featurs of this amazing game so dont let a few bad reviews from people who think donky kong is great keep you from experiancing this game for yourself.

Dated but enjoyable [Posted on 2007-05-08]
Fairly dated graphics but the engine and game flow seem fairly good. For the price it cant be beat if you are looking for a decent shooter.

HELP!  [Posted on 2008-01-14]
This is perhaps the most frustrating game I've ever played. In addition to the numerous bugs others have written about, it's also highly addictive! It's a very frustrating combo...

Anyway, I'm finally at the end, nearly rescued my daughter, but when I try to complete the final mission, the bad guys holding me off just keep respawning as fast as I can kill them! I found a couple cheats, but I have to type them into something called "the console." What is this, and how do I access this? I'm not a "computer guy" so to those of you who are, this must seem like a really stupid question, but please, if you have an answer for how I open "the console" in the game, to enter these codes, PLEASE write me back! Thanks.
