This cartridge works as advertised. I've had it last a full 450 pages - the cartridge is easy to replace - the cartridge is quick to replace (unless you're an engineer and feel that you have to study the entire mechanism). The quality produced exceeds ink jet, and based on the material I send and receive it's quicker than ink jet. I just can't find a down side here.

But if you have a good cartridge, all you have to do is to change its ribbon. Save BIG $$$$.

The ribbon is easy and clean to install and I have had no complaints from any of the recipients of my faxes. I have had the Brother "Intellifax MFC-1970" for over eight years and it's still going strong.
