Perfect Little Labeler [Posted on 2008-05-31] I dont use this Labeler for anything too sophisticated, If all you need is something labeled, short, simple, to the point this will do it. I use it to label various small items with my name, and to label little drawer organizers, and file labels. There are some symbols I wish it had that it doesnt, but they are pretty uncommon anyway and nothing a little abbreviating cant solve. It might do some extra stuff, I dont know but ive had it for quite awhile now and it is great, its very durable, the labels are easy to find, and if you ask me, the price is very reasonable (on amazon.com.
Fast shipping [Posted on 2008-06-19] Great product. The only thing is that I cannot change the language. Maybe defective. Still need to check.
I want to give it 5 stars... but I can't! [Posted on 2008-06-27] I love this item--it is quick, easy to use and inexpensive. It makes beautiful labels as well which are incredibly useful. The issue has been that it gobbles batteries at an alarming rate! When I read the reviews, I figured I wouldn't be using it *that* much and that the folks who mentioned battery life were probably using it a lot more than I would. Well, I use it pretty darn sparingly (I think I've printed 20 labels total) and, I kid you not, I've been through 8 triple A batteries in owning it for 3 months or so! Not only does that make it expensive, it makes it a pain because you have to keep buying batteries (or invest in rechargeables which are not cheap). Why? All because it DOES NOT have an AC adapter port! If it had such a port, even if it didn't come with an adapter, I would rate it 5 stars. As it is, you have a great device with a serious power issue. 3 stars is the best I can do. If you are using this at home, get one of the other models with an adapter---this way the only consumable is the tape.
Easy to Use [Posted on 2008-07-10] This product is very easy to use. You can set up and start using even without looking at the directions. I did have to read the directions for the meaning of some of the buttons. You can adjust height, width and add symbols, etc. I have been wanting a labeler for awhile and read that this one was easy, cheap and recommended. That did it for me.
I have to say as some others have, it does go through batteries. It takes four AAA batteries and after 15 labels that I printed all at one time, it needed new batteries. I'm going to invest in some rechargable ones for this since I already have a charger for them anyway.
This is perfect to label DVDs, file folders and we are building a new house and for awhile at least I'm going to label the light switches so I will know what turns what on. The uses are limitless.
great gift [Posted on 2008-07-19] we have just loved having this for scrapbooking and also for putting our names in all our summer reading.
