This is the greatest TV splitter I've ever encountered. I hooked up my DVD recorder and the TV together and it was just what I needed. Ya hook up the TV in the 2 prong area and the DVD player into the 3 prong area and it works like a dream. JUST DONT HAVE ANYTHING ON TOP OF THE TV THAT COULD INTERFERE WITH THE RECEPTION. It is a must buy when you get your DVD player.
