This battery was NEW and it saved me from having to purchase a new phone. My phone would not power on at all before I recieved this replacement. The price was great and it was pre charged so I used it right away.

I was about to replace the phone, due to it acting up and cutting out with no warning. I also was thinking that the battery would cost $30 to $40 and I would rather apply that to a new phone. Luckily, I ran across this battery for only $3.00 and $3.00 for shipping. I had been suffering for so long that it was almost like having a new phone for $6.00! Thank You!

I have had my Cingular 8125 for several years now, and have never felt the need to "upgrade" to a newer phone since mine already has basically all of the features any of the newer phones have. Suddenly, my phone began acting up -- the battery would die so quickly it would turn off before it even gave the low battery warning light. Sometimes it would go directly from 3 bars of battery life to unable to turn on.

Even keeping it plugged in to the car charger it would turn off after a 20 minute conversation, and be unable to turn back on until it had charged for a while.

I brought the phone in to an AT&T wireless store hoping that the salesperson would agree with me that it was most likely a battery problem, and that I could buy a new one and fix the whole problem. Unfortunately, the salesguy said that they did not carry the batteries for this phone anymore, but that I could get them from AT&T online. He also warned me that the symptoms I was describing could mean that my phone was on its last legs, and that I would need to replace it.

I went online, but even on the website, AT&T no longer carried any accessories or batteries for my phone. Luckily I found this battery for sale here, and although I was nervous about purchasing a battery from an unknown merchant. The price was better than I ever imagined it would have been, so I decided it was worth the risk for such a low price.

When it arrived, it was already half-charged, and I went through the standard charging routine of fully charging, fully discharging several times. Since getting this battery my phone has stopped all of its foolishness, and seems to be as good as new. Possibly even better. Maybe it is wishful thinking, but it seems that the reception has even improved since getting this battery!

My only complaint was that I wanted to order a replacement stylus, and I noticed that this same company sold them. Even though they weigh practically nothing and would be shipped from the same company along with the battery to the same place, they doubled the shipping cost. This really bugged me because even if they would have been shipped separately, they could be put in an envelope and sent with nothing more than a standard stamp!

I bought this battery because the OEM one that came with the phone died completely. There's not much to say, it fit my phone perfectly and had enough juice to at least turn the phone on so I could see what calls I missed. Now that I've used if for a month or so though, I do feel like this battery drains faster than the OEM and that's kinda weird seeing as how this is a 1250mAh and the OEM one I had was 1150mAh. Overall though, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to replace their phone's battery.
