svideo cables are generally a lot more expensive ..for the lenght..and the price...this deal cannot be beat....i love it..the quality is not great..but i think if it works well for a year i shud be more than happy.

I bought this cable thinking the silver contacts should be fine for outputting video from a laptop to a TV. It works fine, however you can clearly see some lines within the video moving up and down. There are not always there, but they do clearly show the inferior quality of the cable when they are there, and do get annoying during a movie. I bought the 24K gold plated version Cables To Go - 29160 - 25ft Velocity S-Video Cable (Black) from the same company and the lines went away completely.
