Works [Posted on 2008-03-31] We have an older TV that puts RCA feeds on different input channels from S-Video. Our DVD player was set up through S-Video for better video quality (over RCA), but the cable box had only RCA outputs. This created issues when setting up the universal remote functions. The adapter let us input both via S-Video with no noticeable loss of quality so that both devices are on the same input channel, solving the remote issues. $10 well spent for years of channel surfing simplicity.
Works Perfect, Fits Snugly [Posted on 2008-07-30] This adapter works flawlessly. I've been using it to connect the video feed from my PS2 to the S-Vid port on an old projector that doesn't have all three RCA ports. The adapter fits very snugly on both ends and provides great quality picture.
Works as intended. [Posted on 2008-08-13] some others say it's loose but mine fits snug on both ends plus it works perfect for an anolog output out of a laptop to a tv.
Cables To Go the way to Go [Posted on 2008-08-27] Great service and product. They have most of your cable needs at great prices as well as quick delivery.
Works like a charm [Posted on 2008-09-03] One reviewer said the connection was so loose that the converter didn't work at all. Nothing could be further from the truth. The fit was snug and connecting was simple. It worked like a charm and took all of 15 minutes to install. I use it to connect my mac laptop to a run-of-the-mill TV to watch movies. Of course, text is unreadable, but graphics are excellent. It has no moving parts so I can't see where a problem could arise. Another reviewer said he had to 'shave a bit of the blue plastic' which I can see as a possibility, but I didn't even have to do that.
