I bought this to work with a Laserjet 5 printer. I found it installed easily and needed no drivers to work with Windows XP. I've printed text and graphics without a problem. Very happy with this product.

Did not work with Powerbook G4 and HP Laserjet 5L [Posted on 2008-12-08]
My HP Laserjet 5L did not go "online" when connected to my powerbook G4 using the cable. The cable did not work using the driver Apple supplies with OSX. My laptop never recognized that a printer had been connected.
