I use this cable to connect my laptop to my TV. It goes from the S-Video port on my laptop to the RCA-video port on my TV. With this cable, I can plug my laptop into pretty much any TV, since most of them have RCA (yellow red and white inputs). However, I couldn't do that with a regular S-video cable, since a lot of TVs don't have an S-Video input.

The only problem I had was that I have a crappy integrated nVidia graphics card which couldn't recognize the TV through the cable (the problem wasn't at all with the cable). I had to download a program called TVTool to do what my graphics card couldn't do, and after that it worked great!

This cable works great and was pretty cheap.

I use this cable for connecting my notebook to TV. Although my TV has an S-Video input it is positioned rather inconveniently on its backside, whereas RCA is installed in the front. The cable works great and gives same quality picture as an S-Video (I have both).

I had trouble in using S-Video to RCA converter(box model). So i chose this one and it worked really well for me. So i highly recommend this product if you are using Inspiron 600m series laptop.

It had been delivered within time expected. After adjusting video setup in my desktop computer, it showed nice pictures on TV screen. I think that you can use this product if you want to see computer screen on TV without expecting very high resolution.
