Works Just Fine [Posted on 2007-05-06] Purchased to hook up my DISH HD tuner to new SONY LCD projection television (wanted to reduce the number of component cables used). Picture appears to be fine on both standard and high definition channels. It would have been ridiculous to spend a lot more for a Monster cable, especially since I only receive 6 HD channels. This cable works just fine (please note, that if you have a lot of wireless transmission equipment near your cables, you may want to purchase Monster cable for its heavy shielding to ensure prevention of any inteference). I did however, purchase a HDMI to HDMI Monster cable for hooking up my SONY upscaling DVD player (both purchased on Amazon). In that case I wanted to ensure that I received the best DVD picture possible for my movie collection. I hope this helps Amazon viewers to decide which cables to purchase; and to possibly save a few bucks when purchasing DVI/HDMI video cables.
Good Cable [Posted on 2007-09-06] I bought this cable to conect a pc to a hdtv LCD, it works great, there is no
interference at all, and the image looks perfect and beutifull in my hdtv lcd.
Good value [Posted on 2007-10-07] The cable connects my MacBook Pro DVI output to a HDMI input on my new digital TV and gives great quality photo display. Cable length does not seem to be an issue at all.
Works Great, Great Price [Posted on 2008-03-12] Needed long cable to run from DVI-out docking station to HDMI-in 24" monitor. Noticeable improvement over VGA cable. Don't know how more expensive DVI/HDMI cables could improve my image. Word of caution: this is for general office use. Not a graphics pro. Maybe those more expensive cables are worth it if your monitor has to be precisely calibrated so that the hues you see on screen are exactly what comes out of the printer. Maybe. For me, this cable works great.
great cable, great price [Posted on 2008-04-14] Received the cable promptly, and it has worked without flaw for the past two weeks.
I have no complaints - it is the perfect length for connecting my sony LCD Bravia 52" to my closet of home theater goodies. Easy to hide such a long length of cable.
There is no difference in picture quality relative to other premium 1.5m and 2m cables that I have used with the same equipment setup prior to this purchase. I watch (and adore) the Blu-Ray version of the BBC documentary _Planet Earth_, and it renders fantastically at 1080p.
If you need a 5 meter cable, get this one unless you can find it cheaper someplace else. It's worth what I paid (<$30).
