The best [Posted on 2007-05-12] Canon makes the best ink and the best consumer printers. The printers are terrific and reasonably priced. THe ink is, while a bit pricey, head over hills above the competition in every way. Generic inks ARE NOT WORTH IT!!!! They really aren't!
it works [Posted on 2007-06-10] beat the high price of canon ink cartridges with this generic ... you have to take the chip out of the cartridge that you are replacing but it's easy to do
Cheaper at NewEgg [Posted on 2008-02-07] I used to buy a lot of ink for my Pixma here at Amazon but I recently found it cheaper at NewEgg.
Getting out those last drops... [Posted on 2008-02-20] These are well made cartridges and I'm very happy with the photo quality. Besides the high price and fairly small quantity, the only thing that bugs me is that the sensor says it's empty when the main reservoir is empty. There's still at least a couple 8X10s left in the absorbent material above the nozzle.
Someone once explained how you can use a piece of electrical tape to "fool" the sensor and get out that precious remaining ink. But I haven't been able to do it on my Pro9000. I'd be grateful for any feedback--it's a shame to waste good ink!
Canon CLI-8 Ink [Posted on 2008-06-06] Love the Canon Pro9000 printer and inks. The photos I print look just as good if not better than those from a "professional" printing lab.
