Perfect for my needs [Posted on 2008-04-21] This printer works fine for my limited needs, and is an amazing value for the price. I do a great deal of printing, and 99% is printed on my HP 2420 Black and White Laser printer.
I do have need for scanning and occasional color printing, however, and this Canon has worked great so far. I really couldn't believe the price.I needed a long USB cable, and it cost more than 50% of what the Pixma cost.
It is a little slow, and if my needs were greater for color printing or scanning, I might have purchased a little faster model, but this one is really a good value, easy to put together, with an easy to understand operating instructions.
nice printer [Posted on 2008-04-24] Really nice printer for the price. Does everything I need in a basic printer. $56.99 at Amazon, but it went down to $52 a couple of days after I bought it.
Pros: Clean, crisp printing. Fast printing. Cost.
Cons: takes a while to engage after turning the printer on, and sending a print job. Too many steps required to print only in black ink.
Overall, I highly recommend this printer. Good value.
Extremely Pleased! [Posted on 2008-04-24] Good Price, free expedient delivery, excellent printing. Good Photos for my useage. I get photos at retail store for larger quantities and quality and save my ink cartridge cost. I'm a happy camper. Thanks Amazon!
canon pixma mp210 [Posted on 2008-04-25] Canon Pixma MP210 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer (2175B002) So far I have found this product to be very satisfactory, fine print quality, easy set up. It does seem to take longer than I am used to for it to "warm up" and to "shut down" though, not a real problem
No USB Cable Included! [Posted on 2008-05-01] Would it pain Canon to include a USB cable so you could hook it up to your computer right away? And only one other reviewer mentioned that?? Well that's the review I didn't read. What's wrong with all of you who bought this? Does everyone have extra USB cables lying around like spare change? Thanks Amazon Prime for getting this to me in two days. Now I need to drag myself down to the store to get a new cable. Who knows how many days that will take me...
