Amazing Printer at an Amazing Price [Posted on 2008-03-02]
I was tired of fighting my husband for ink on our multi-function printer that he uses for work (heaven forbid I use up all the yellow!) and wanted a small printer specialized for printing photos so I wouldn't see all the little artifacts a less specialized printer seemed to leave.

This printer is quite simply fantastic. The print quality is beyond what I expected for this price, and I have already recommended it to several people. If you can afford a dye sublimation printer, by all means go for it, that would be on my wish list as well. But you can hardly tell this is an ink jet by looking at the prints.

One complaint (although hard to make because of the bargain price) is that I wish they had included the printer cable, because I had to make a second trip to the store to get a high speed USB cable because I did not have one with the right end. I've had trouble getting prints at best quality when printing right from a memory card, but that might be operator error.

the printer works great printing 4x6 and 5x7, and i haven't printed any other sizes but would assume that the images would print well too. there are no blur or grainy effects unless the original digital image had such effects in it. i expected at least a few sheets of photo paper and got none, but otherwise am satisfied. i like the portability of it, and have used it a good bit and have still not installed the drivers on my home computer. it was definitely worth the price, and the only improvement would be to print on larger paper, but i can buy a bigger printer for that, when i feel that i want it bad enough.

Great photo printer. Very easy to use. I had it out of the box and printing from my Canon camera in about 10 minutes. I am very happy with the photo resolution. True to life colors also a big plus. Very fast 4+6 print speed, about 10 seconds per print.
Lots of options.
All in all, a very good little printer.

I do a lot of digital photography and this little guy is a quality printer for the price...I can take it with me wherever I go and the image quality is as good as a much larger, more expensive unit.
