I've been out of the hifi loop for a while and wanted to build a new 2 channel stereo system. Bought the usual mid-fi stuff-Onkyo,NAD,and a pair of premier acoustics speakers( PA-6f what a mistake). Set up the system and was rather disappointed. Did some research on the web and decided the weakest link was the speakers. I have owned Boston Acoustics, and Klipsch in the past but wanted something different and have always liked Canton. Read up on the white papers and gave the LE 190s a go without being able to listen to them first.(white papers are always great-they even gave the speakers THD and power ratings in both pink noise and music)

Ordered from Accessories for less paid around $850 delivered and arrived in perfect shape. The Basic goal was to move out of mid-fi but spend less than a grand on each component. Plugged them into the 325bee and WOW!! Bass is extended, mids are forward, and the Highs are smooth without being harsh or bright. Are there better loudspeakers out there..Yes..are there worse...definitely. Loudspeakers are subjective to each listener but I have found the pair for me. Next I replaced the NAD 325bee with a BADA Purer 3.3 and the Cantons take the 160 watts with stride. Better components make the Cantons sing all the nicer. Plans are to grow old with these Loudspeakers.
