Customer Reviews:

Good Memory For The Price Paid. [Posted on 2004-02-13]
... I was not sure if it is going to work with my computer or not because the memory I had is double sided and this is single sided. It did work but my motherboard started operating at 100 MHZ instead of the usual 133. But I had some significant performance boost. Recently I started getting errors about the OS not being able to read some memory locations so I tested the memory with a memory testing program and it said the chip is bad. I swapped the modules and did everything I could think of but the program displayed same results. I was getting ready to return it then I decided to give it one more time and then I reset the bios configuration. The motherboard again started operating at 133 MHZ and the memory testing program didnot display any errors. I think the problem was with the FSB rather than memory. Since the memory was very cheap, my guess is it cannot hold data at 100 MHZ for long enough to pass the memory test but for 133 MHZ its fine. Overall I am satisfied with this memory.

AOK. [Posted on 2007-05-13]
I found a 20 GIG computer with Office XP on it in my buildings garbage room. It worked OK, expect for screen warnings about memory being to low. Also, the thing moved as slow as Malaises in January.

I brought a book on up grading computers from Amazon: Upgrading and Fixing PCs for Dummies, Sixth Edition [Paperback] by Rathbone...

The book thought me how to remove the old memory card, and insert the new one. It what it told me to do, and it worked great right away.

The previous owner (wholives in my building) probable did not know how to up-grade the memory and he brought a new one.

He left the receipt info for the new purchase as well as photos of his wife, child and a woman I believe to be his girl friend on the system

Luckily for him I dumped all of that stuff.

A little tip to any one reading this. If you're throwing away an old computer, get rid of your personal info. Or, to be safe just take out the hard drive and throw it away separately.

SDRAM [Posted on 2007-07-16]
This was decent RAM. Nothing special. It did what it was supposed to do. I bought it as a Christmas present for a friend and he hasn't had any problems with it.

You have a 33% chance of getting one that works [Posted on 2007-12-22]
I initially ordered two of these to upgrade the memory of a Dell PC. Only one worked (in either slot), so I sent the other back to Tiger Direct and ordered a replacement. The replacement was also dead. I'm back to using the original one that worked plus the 128MB module that came with the PC.
