BONUS DISK: Prestige Power unavail if your already active [Posted on 2004-05-23]
I bought this disk to gain the "Prestige Power" (Which is simply some spiffy particle effects while you sprint).

The power does NOT enhance your character or gameplay. It is SPECIFICALLY just a DIFFERENT GRAPHICS EFFECT.

Now, if you've already bought the retail version, been playing, have your characters you're working on - you CAN NOT use this disk to "ADD" the Prestige Power.

If you want the power, and you buy this disk - you will need to go through the following steps.

1) Contract Tech Support
2) Be escalated to 2nd level support
3) Supply your game activateion code from your retail
4) Let them CANCEL your existing account
5) Wait 24 to 48 (possibly up to 72) hours - at which time they send you a replacement retail code.
6) Activate your BETA/PRESALE Disk - which will default to INACTIVE because the Beta is over.
7) Re-Activate your new Beta account with the replacement retail code
8) Start playing City of Heroes, with NONE of your existing characters; but you MAY have the Prestige Sprinting Running effects.

Just wanted everyone to be warned.

The other stuff on the disk is OK, but nothing you don't see if you search for City Of Heroes and download the movies that are freely available.

Disappointing... [Posted on 2004-06-17]
I bought this for the "Prestige Power" but as it turns out, you cannot use it if you already have an existing account. Unless you are willing to have that account deleted (losing all of your current characters) and start all over. The screen shots are nice, and I enjoyed the trailer, but I am glad that this "bonus" disk only cost a buck! Amazon should REALLY note in the description that you cannot actually USE the prestige power on an existing account!
