Great ink for my Epson RX680 [Posted on 2008-05-21] Wow $1 cheaper than what Microcenter charges for the same 5 pack. Seems to last a good while when I'm printing CD & DVD labels onto inkjet printable media plus DVD case inserts on the text plus graphics setting. Each cartridge is sealed in it's own pack until ready to use. Just remember that black is not included. You will have to order that too. Problem is I can't find the high capacity black cartridges anywhere except for the Epson site. Oh well....
Long time Epson User [Posted on 2008-06-01] I am a long time Epson user and currently have 3 different Epson printers. With this "multi-pak" it is nice not to have to pick one color at a time. I had read reviews that the printer was an ink hog but this ink seems to last a long time and I print alot of color. The colors are vibrant. Definitely recommend.
Good Ink at a Good Price [Posted on 2008-06-17] I recently switched from Canon printers (IP4000, IP3000 and IP9100) to Epson. My reason for switching was primarily tied to color fading of prints over time. The downside is that Epson ink is expensive but its colors are more vibrant and long lasting (time will tell on the latter). This Multi-Color Pak fit great with my needs and the pricing was good also. I would recommend this ink to anyone who is using an Epson R260 or R280.
Epson Ink [Posted on 2008-07-12] Nice being able to get all the color cartridges in one package, but should also have a black cartridge in it - My Epson uses them all at the same speed.
These 77 cartridges hold SO much more ink! [Posted on 2008-07-18] I have an Epson R-380 High Definition Printer that use Claria inks. The printer ships with the 78 cartridges and provided excellent results but were short lived. Then I discovered the 77 high capacity cartridges on the Epson website and found that they held a full 60% more ink. Now these cartridges are available on Amazon and I would highly recommend them.
Certainly they are more expensive but you'll have the luxury of more ink and you'll end up spending less on inks in the long run. You'll still find that the yellow and light magenta seem to be used the most. The ability to replace 6 completely separate ink cartridges as you need them is a very nice thing. I have a professional HP 8700 and love the results but all the 7 inks are contained in 3 cartridges and when just one of the inks in the cartridges is empty, you have to replace the whole cartridge with some inks remaining that you must recycle or toss. You never know how much ink your throwing away.
Please note that for some reason, the 76 and 77 multi packs don't include a black cartridge, which must be purchased separately. Amazon only offers the 78 version of the black cartridge but this is a relatively minor issue.
