I was looking for an affordable PC to do video editing from my digital camcorder. I have owned this PC for a month and it is a very solid performer. I wanted a firewire input on the front to plug in my camcorder, XP Media Center edition, a large harddrive, a reasonable amount of RAM and a decent video card. I got most of that in this PC. The 1Gig of ram I upgraded with a second 1Gig stick to give me 2Gigs total. Now the Video Card using 256meg of the RAM is not a problem. Like most pre-built PCs, this one is loaded with extra software trials that nobody wants, but they have been easily uninstalled. Find this PC "on sale" with a decent rebate and it is a good choice for the "non-gamer" that wants a good computer for MSOffice apps, web surfing, and photo and video editing.
