Speakers work just fine. I expected them to look better than what they did. The boy I bought them for thought they were great, just cause they were Monkeys!

These things are junk. I tried both ways, with the battery power, and with the usb power and they distort at the lowest audible volume. Don't waste you money and time in packaging them up to send back!

I bought this as a present for a friend of mine for her computer at work. When we plugged it in, there was so much static you couldn't hear the music. I looked at the instructions and it turns out you can't put it near a computer monitor. What's the point of getting them then?!!

I love these speakers! they may not have professional sound quality but they are durable and a lot of fun to look at. My cat knocks my speakers off of the computer desk all of the time and the plush sides of these speakers prevents breakage. I'm sure these would be great for families as well as long as kids understand these are speakers and not stuffed toys.
