We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. It is one of her favorite gifts and she has used it a lot. I had no idea which one of these hair-beader things to buy as all have such mixed reviews. I am happy we chose this one as it allows for many different size beads at once. I was able to buy inexpensive Pony and shaped beads at our local Joann Crafts store so she could enjoy it with her friends. It is very easy to use, even without reading the instructions it is quite easy to figure out. I also comes with a nice carrying/storage case that holds everything-even the beader. It is a bit under powered if you try to put in too much hair but is not cumbersome at all to work once you have the hang of it--only taking a couple of times to master. Our 11 year old uses it without supervision and does a great job all on her own. I do wish I could find a place that has the clips that hold the whole "beaded wonder" in place once it is on the hair. I have to research that some as I am not sure where to find them. BE CAREFUL TO SAVE THE CLIPS AND NOT LOSE THEM. The beader comes with about 8 of them but you need one for each bead strand you make so beware if you run out... rubberbands will not work on Pony beads. Daughter loves it... we are very happy! I would purchase again!

Easy to use. My daughter loves it. We bought extra beads at the craft store and any will work with it. Only complaint is the clips that go on the end to hold the beads on break easy and I have looked on Conair's website and they don't sell any additional locking beads.

When I received my Quick Bead I wrapped it up for my daughter for Christmas. We eagerly opened it, put it together, and then IT NEVER WORKED.

My 5-year old daughter wanted to purchase this product. I was apprehensive about it, but she saved her own money. I was pleasently surprised how easy it was to manage and that it actually works quite well! Now, my 5-year old can't quite manage it on her own, but she enjoys picking out her beads and inserting them onto the beader.

You can buy extra beads much cheaper at Walmart or any craft and fabric stores.

I think it's a good product and worth the money.
