Graphics are little behind "good" for a 2003 game. But other than that, awesome gameplay. The thing I hate most is that there is no online play. I always play my brother over the LAN and now we can't do it. I can't give you another alternative game because I don't know one. If you play games for the campaign, then this game is for you. If you're an onliner, then get another game. The campaign is still fun though.

"Conflict: Desert Storm 2", just like the original "Conflict: Desert Storm", is a very well done military simulation for practicing basic combat infantry tactics, while still keeping the game really fun on a shooter-type of level. In other words, this is not a mind-numbing run-and-gun game -- you must think how you and your squad should assault or defend various positions; or the enemy will kill you and all of your men. There are not many games out there with this winning combination of realism, excitement, enjoyment, and playability: This is one of the few that successfully combines all of these elements.

This is much harder to play that the 1st Desert Storm game. The enemy move more while shooting at you making it hard to hit them. They also throw granades a lot. Most of the missions take place at night so get used to night vision. Over all it was worth playing and the graphics are better.
